I have really been in a polka dot mode lately. Polka dots are always pretty. Stripes kinda always have the same effect.. atleast it does for me.
I worked all day yesterday trying to find the best way to add ruffles to my pillowcases. One seam or two was my question. One seam costs twice as much money and I thought two seams would look bad, but two seams turns out not to be bad after all. The second seam gets covered up with the gathering of the ruffles. So either way. I think they both turned out lovely.

I found you by trying to find out the same thing. Did you double them or a single layer of fabric Like the stores do> I was thing of a rolled edge on the serger for a single layer .Thanks for posting your experience Jude
